Job Description

Target
Develop and integrate control solutions for industrial automation projects, ensuring correct communication and integration of cobots with PLCs, safety devices, and peripheral systems on production lines.

Main Responsibilities

  • Integrate cobots into the line using digital signals, communication protocols (Modbus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP, or others).
  • Program and configure PLCs for the integration of automated systems into production lines.
  • Perform integration of peripheral devices such as:
    • Safety scanners
    • Vision cameras
    • Sensors and actuators
  • Participate in defining the project's control architecture.
  • Conduct functional testing, validations, and provide support during commissioning.
  • Work collaboratively with mechanical engineering, manufacturing, quality, and safety teams.
  • Deliver technical documentation and user guides
  • Provide technical support for improvements and optimization of the automated system.

Qualifications

Knowledge and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Robotics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field
  • Practical experience with PLC programming and industrial automation.
  • Proficiency in PLC software platforms, preferably Siemens.
  • Experience with SCADA systems and HMI design
  • Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Profibus, EtherNet/IP)
  • Knowledge of electrical systems and industrial automation principles
  • Experience in designing, implementing, or maintaining PLC-based control systems
  • Expertise in manufacturing processes and industrial automation
  • Understanding of safety systems and regulations in industrial environments
