About this role

Aircraft Equipment & Telecommunications Specialist

The Opportunity:
Serve as a telecommunication specialist working with a program management office (PMO). Manage mission systems Technical Order (TO)/Time Compliance Technical Order (TCTOs), including requirements traceability, configuration control, system reliability or maintainability, communication access and security, and conduct TO/TCTO verification and validation (V&V). Work with government and external stakeholders developing and maintaining TCTOs associated with the communication systems. Perform TDY duties unsupervised while overseeing and evaluating contractor performance. Assist the PMO with developing, testing, and fielding prototype capabilities. This position will be located at Tinker AFB, OK or Offutt AFB, NE.
 

You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience working as a DoD equipment specialist

  • 5+ years of experience working with aircraft mission communication systems

  • Experience using Microsoft Office tools

  • Knowledge of E-4B mission systems

  • Top Secret clearance

  • Associate's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience working with E-4B mission communication systems

  • Experience with DoD technical orders account management

  • Ability to conduct TDY travel up to 120 days per year

  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Possession of excellent team collaboration skills

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • Bachelor's degree

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
