About this role
Bonnell Aluminum is seeking a dedicated and experienced Stores Specialist B to join our team and help us ensure the optimal performance and longevity of our equipment and systems.
This position is responsible for the overall flow of parts/ tools in the stockroom. This includes daily issues, adjustments, and cycle counts of inventory in JD Edwards system as well as replenishment of stock as it is received. Maintain overall organization and cleanliness of area. Works closely with Maintenance, Receiving, and Purchasing departments as well as other plant employees.
What You'll Be Responsible For:
Daily cycle count of set number of inventoried items.
Enter data into JD Edwards from requisition cards to adjust inventory levels.
- Enter data into Excel spreadsheets as needed to support Purchasing/ Receiving.
- Replenish stock items to proper bin locations once processed through Receiving.
- Aid customers in stockroom by helping locate parts/ tools and complete requisition cards.
- Maintain stockroom organization and cleanliness by making sure all items are in proper bin locations and sweeping/ dusting stockroom area as needed.
- May require pushing/ pulling hand truck or dolly while transporting stock items to be put in bin locations within stockroom.
- May be required to unload item(s) from floor to overhead levels.
What You'll Have to Have:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid State Driver’s License
- Good working knowledge of JD Edwards
- Ability to work in Microsoft Excel

What you'll do
- The Stores Specialist B is responsible for managing the flow of parts and tools in the stockroom, including daily inventory counts and data entry into the JD Edwards system. They also maintain the organization and cleanliness of the stockroom and assist other employees in locating parts and tools.
