Your expertise will be crucial as you identify potential risks and devise effective strategies to mitigate them, especially concerning wastewater treatment. 

You will oversee environmental assessments and audits, ensuring our facility complies with all relevant environmental laws. Communicating environmental performance metrics to stakeholders and providing training to employees on environmental best practices will also be part of your responsibilities. With a focus on continuous improvement, you will lead initiatives that promote waste reduction, resource conservation, and sustainability innovations in manufacturing processes.

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

• Ensure adherence to environmental laws and regulations governing aluminum manufacturing.
• Conduct environmental assessments and audits regularly to identify risks and areas for improvement.
• Coordinate hazardous and non-hazardous waste shipments, as well as logistics for raw materials and equipment.
• Oversee waste management practices and aim to decrease waste production within the facility.
• Ensure the preparation and maintenance of precise documentation pertaining to environmental compliance and reporting activities.
• Engage with cross-functional teams to advance sustainable manufacturing practices and innovations.

What You’ll Need to Have:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong problem-solving and detail-oriented skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including management and regulatory agencies.
• Wastewater Licenses in the State of Tennessee with Minimum Biological Natural Requirements
• Capable of managing the wastewater system and providing coverage during employee absences.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools related to environmental performance metrics.
• Leadership skills and the ability to train and motivate teams towards environmental sustainability initiatives.
• Applicants are required to successfully complete a company background check and drug screening process.

Bonnell Aluminum is North America’s premier manufacturer of custom aluminum extrusions. We manufacture mill finish, anodized, painted and thermally broken aluminum extrusions. Our press size ranges from 1,550 to 5,500-tons.
