Role

We are looking for a software engineer to own the creation, design, and maintenance of systems that leverage generative models like LLMs within the company. The role will require the candidate to apply the latest advancements in AI to build a fully agentic user experience on top of the company’s 3D visualization technologies and product catalog.

Responsibilities

• Drive the overall architecture of the company's AI systems.

• Test and prototype the latest technologies being released within the AI space with an eye towards how they can be applied to our specific use case.

• Build and maintain software to search the internet for information about products in our catalog and then incorporate that information into our systems.

• Build and maintain software to integrate information from our product catalog, user provided input, and spatial data to generate designs of spaces.

• Build and maintain endpoints providing an agentic capabilities for our user interfaces.

• Implement and manage multi-agent communication frameworks that leverage LLMs to facilitate intelligent and context-aware interactions.

• Create software to automate product ingestion.

• Deliver key features in coordination with the other engineers at the company.

• Coordinate with stakeholders to conceptualize project timelines and evolving strategy.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on software engineering experience.

• Experience integrating AI into production applications with large and changing datasets.

• Experience building frameworks to evaluate the performance of AI systems.

• Familiarity with the latest advancements in AI models, tooling, and techniques.

• Strong programming skills in Python. Golang and TypeScript experience a plus.

• Experience with multi-agent system architectures and their applications in AI.

• Ability to lead technical discussion and decisions, including framework selection.

• Ability to clearly communicate with both technical and non-technical team members, especially explaining technical approaches, capabilities, and performance.

• Enjoys working on small teams and evolving startup environments to devise creative solutions to complex problems.
