As a Quality IT Specialist you will be joining our quality team and be responsible for the development, implementation and support of our quality IT systems in the press shop, body shop and paint shop (painted body) based on the BMW quality strategy and IT framework.

 

What awaits you?

  • Work environment – a highly automated production line equipped with robots, where numerous new technologies are implented.
  • Team - You will be a member of team, that consists of 10 engineers. You will work in close collaboration with operational departments in requirements management, problem solving and change management and also with shopfloor and management team in defining and developing IT solutions. Besides you should also operate in cooperation within international BMW Group quality network via relevant working circles.
  • Application landscape – You take responsibility for application landscape related to quality processes in regard to efficiency, quality and customer value.
  • Continuous optimization of systems and trainings – You will be responsible for the continuous optimization of systems and reporting in collaboration with all related partners from shopfloor to higher level management. You ensure the development of trainings and continuous training of new users.
  • Management and execution of change projects – You will manage and execute the development and change projects related to quality IT systems and als the development and piloting of new digital solutions and future innovations.

  

What should you bring along?

  • Educational Background – Bachelor’s degree in technical field out of information technology, quality management, automotive engineering or related field of study or other equal professional qualification.
  • Work experience - 3 years of work experience in relevant field. Experience in executing IT projects from requirements definition with operations, application development and roll-out including supporting change management and experience or interest in automotive manufacturing or quality management, for example problem management, application requirement definition, development and deployment.
  • Work schedule – You are willing to work on-site at least 4 days a week during regular business hours.
  • Language skills - English and Hungarian knowledge in both written and verbal. German language skills would be an advantage.
  • Experience in application development and coding skills – You gained knowledge in application development and deployment and you have at least basic coding skills in high level programming language (e.g. Angular, CSS, HTML, Python).
  • AI technolgies and IT soultions - knowledge in AI technologies is desirable, as well as experience with IT solutions like Azure, AWS and Power Apps.
  • Soft skills - good communication, teamwork, problem solving skills.
