As a Quality IT Specialist you will be joining our quality team and be responsible for the development, implementation and support of our quality IT systems in the press shop, body shop and paint shop based on the BMW quality strategy and IT framework.

 

What awaits you?

  • Responsibility for application landscape related to quality processes in regard to efficiency, quality and customer value.
  • Close collaboration with operational departments in requirements management, problem solving and change management.
  • Close collaboration with shopfloor and management team in defining and developing IT solutions.
  • Continuous optimization of systems and reporting in collaboration with all related partners from shopfloor to higher level management. Development of trainings and continuous training of new users.
  • Leadership and execution of development and change projects related to quality IT systems.
  • Development and piloting of new digital solutions and future innovations.
  • Collaboration within international BMW Group quality network via relevant working circles.

  

What should you bring along?

  • Bachelor´s degree in technical field out of information technology, quality management, automotive engineering or related field of study or other equal professional qualification.
  • 3 years of work experience in relevant field.
  • Interest in IT systems, digital solutions and their further development.
  • Application development and deployment knowledge and at least basic coding skills in high level programming language (e.g. Angular, CSS, HTML, Python)
  • Experience in executing IT projects from requirements definition with operations, application development and roll-out including supporting change management.
  • Experience or interest in automotive manufacturing or quality management, for example problem management, application requirement definition, development and deployment.
  • Knowledge in AI technologies desirable, as well as experience with IT solutions like Azure, AWS and Power Apps
  • Good communication, teamwork, problem solving skills.
  • English and Hungarian knowledge in both written and verbal. German language skills would be an advantage.
