As a Car Mechanic in the Assembly Plant at BMW Group Plant Debrecen, you play a key role in revolutionizing the way we think about driving.

What awaits you?

 

  • Work Environment – You work in a highly automated workshop equipped with robots, which are set up, operated, and maintained by our team to ensure top-level quality.
  • Troubleshooting and Diagnostics – You identify deviations in vehicle production and assembly, determine the necessary corrective actions, and ensure smooth processes.
  • Shifts – You currently work in a single-shift system; however, in the future, working in two- and three-shift schedules will be mandatory.
  • Documentation – You record identified issues in the BMW system and manage the necessary administrative steps to support quality assurance.
  • Performing Repairs – Based on process descriptions, you carry out repairs and ensure high-quality assembly of our vehicles.
  • Continuous Training – You take part in our extensive training program designed to fully prepare you for your role.
  • Process Optimization – You contribute to improving production quality by providing feedback and suggestions that support ongoing development.

 

What should you bring along?

 

  • Educational Background - You have successfully completed secondary vocational education. A specialization in automotive electronics or agricultural machinery mechanics is an advantage, but not a requirement.
  • Work Experience – You have experience in vehicle maintenance or repair, gained in a factory environment, car dealership, agricultural machinery service center, workshop, or during vocational training.
  • Willingness to Learn – You are open to learning about automotive electronics and eager to expand your skills in this field.
  • Precision & Teamwork – You work accurately and enjoy collaborating in a team. Strong communication skills are one of your strengths.
  • Language Skills – Native-level Hungarian required, basic knowledge of English or German is an advantage, but not a must.
  • Working in shifts – You are willing to work in alternating shifts once production begins.
  • Driving License – You hold a category B driver’s license and use it actively.
  • Computer skills – You have basic computer skills required for documentation and administration tasks.
