BluePearl Pet Hospital in Framingham, MA is hiring for a compassionate & driven Veterinary Technician Manager to mentor, train, and lead our patient care team. This role requires a Veterinary Technician license.

Pay: $39.00 - $61.00 / hour

This pay band is dependent on experience and advancement through our competency assessment tool. Candidates with VTS credentialing are eligible for compensation commensurate with experience.

As a Veterinary Technician Manager, you will:

• Uphold the Mars 5 Principles + BluePearl’s vision and mission.

• Act as a subject-matter expert and resource for technicians and assistants in patient care, daily operations, and skill-building.

• Build strong partnerships with hospital leadership to ensure standards of care are understood, communicated, and supported by team development.

• Collaborate with supervisors and the regional nursing trainer to create engaging, forward-thinking training programs for the nursing team.

• Play an active role in managing day-to-day operations of the nursing team alongside hospital leadership.

• Mentor staff by modeling professional work habits, clinical excellence, and business acumen.

• Address workplace conflicts proactively, seeking resolutions that foster effective collaboration.

• Coach and inspire staff to achieve high performance and productivity aligned with our mission.

• Communicate clearly to ensure team understanding of new ideas, protocol updates, and company initiatives.

• Build positive relationships across departments to promote a culture of teamwork.

• Implement and train on process improvement initiatives.

• Conduct performance evaluations, document team member progress, and provide leadership with recommendations for performance management.

• Perform other relevant duties as assigned.

Our Continuing Education Plan includes $500/year reimbursement for CVT and $750/year for VTS. The Continuing Education allowance can roll over up to $1,500 for CVT and VTS associates. Non-Credentialed, full-time Paraprofessionals are eligible for an annual CE stipend of $150. Full-time CVT associates also receive 8 hours of CE paid hours each year. Full-time VTS associates receive 12 hours of CE paid each year. Paid CE hours can be carried over year to year up to a maximum of 24 hours. Newly hired associates will receive a pro-rated amount of any CE benefit for which they are eligible.
