BluePearl Pet Hospital is hiring a Veterinary Technician!
Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 / hour
This pay band is a starting point and is dependent on experience and advancement through our competency leveling system.
Schedule: Both weekday (daytime) & weekend positions available
Our emergency service is growing and we are seeking to add skilled veterinary technicians to our team, RVT preferred. Experience in both ICU and ER/Triage desired. This is a fast paced environment with the potential to work in tandem with our specialty services. This is a full-time position that requires flexibility to work nights and weekends and holidays. As a Veterinary Technician, you will:
Triage and obtain patient history
Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR
Place IVC's and advanced catheters like Jugular catheters, Central Lines or PICC lines.
Monitor and care for Ventilator Cases
Work alongside other skilled technicians and assistants in providing excellent, advanced medicine to your patients
Have a passion for mentoring and training other co-workers.
Feel gratification of nursing critically ill patients back to health and reunite them with their pet parents
