Sr Cloud Delivery Manager

Scope: The Senior Cloud Delivery & Program Manager is accountable for driving the successful delivery of complex cloud programs and services, ensuring alignment with business objectives, technical standards, and customer expectations. This role combines delivery leadership, program governance, and people management responsibilities. The Sr. Manager oversees multiple cloud projects, leads cross-functional teams, manages stakeholders, and ensures high-quality service delivery across public, private, and hybrid cloud environments. Our current technical environment: • Microsoft Azure • VMWare ESXi What you’ll do: Program & Delivery Management • Lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale cloud programs, ensuring scope, timelines, cost, and quality targets are achieved. • Establish and manage program governance, KPIs, and reporting frameworks for stakeholders. • Drive execution of cloud transformation initiatives (migration, modernization, optimization, DevOps adoption). • Identify risks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring timely mitigation and escalation. • Ensure adherence to compliance, security, and enterprise governance standards. People Management • Manage and mentor a team of delivery managers, project managers, and cloud engineers. • Conduct performance reviews, career development planning, and succession planning. • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. • Build organizational capability through training, certification, and skill development. • Effectively allocate and prioritize resources across programs and projects. Stakeholder & Customer Engagement • Act as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders and customers on delivery matters. • Partner with product, architecture, and operations teams to ensure alignment between strategy and execution. • Manage customer expectations, SLAs, and service delivery commitments. • Drive continuous feedback loops with customers to improve service quality and experience. Strategic Leadership • Define and execute delivery roadmaps for cloud services and solutions. • Contribute to enterprise cloud strategy, portfolio planning, and investment decisions. • Evaluate vendor performance and manage strategic partnerships. • Promote best practices for program delivery, Agile/DevOps adoption, and cloud service management. • Support organizational transformation initiatives and change management efforts. What we are looking for: • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, IT, or Business Administration. • 12–15+ years of IT experience with at least 7+ years in cloud delivery/program management. • Strong program and delivery management experience in cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP). • Proven track record of managing complex, multi-stream cloud programs. • Hands-on understanding of cloud operations, migration, and service delivery models. • Strong people management skills, including coaching, mentoring, and performance management. • Experience with Agile, SAFe, ITIL, and DevOps delivery practices. • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and executive reporting skills. • Ability to balance strategic oversight with hands-on program execution. • This role involves rotational shifts, including night shifts, to provide 24/7 application support. • Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays as per shift schedule. • Ability to handle responsibilities independently during off-hours.
