
Job DetailsJob Location: Overland Park, KS 66221We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Field Crew to join our team at a bustling baseball/softball facility. As a member of our crew, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our fields are properly prepared and maintained to provide an exceptional experience for players and spectators alike.
Pay: $15.00/hr
Seasonal, Part-time (March through October)
Responsibilities:
General field preparation and maintenance.
Manual labor includes lifting and carrying heavy material at times.
Collaborate with the supervisors and other team members to coordinate field usage and prioritize maintenance tasks.
Some adverse working conditions exist with this position. Weather conditions are expected for this job.QualificationsRequirements:
Must be at least 16 years of age
Strong physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Knowledge of baseball/softball field set-up and maintenance practices is preferred but not required.
Must pass background check
Flexible schedules available for weekend work (Friday – Sunday 9:00A-9:00P)

Under Kansas State Statutes, voters formed Blue Valley Recreation Commission in 1986 to provide local recreation programs under the auspices of the Blue Valley School Board. Blue Valley Rec is a separate entity; the Board of Education certifies the Commission’s budget and appoints commissioners. The great partnership with the Blue Valley School District allows Blue Valley Rec to contain costs to patrons.
