Departmental Summary:

  • Support Oracle Cloud processes and maintain secure employee access.
  • Manage and review system log files to ensure accurate auditing and compliance.
  • Provide HR side support in Oracle Fusion.
  • Assist with data comparison and analysis to support operational decision‑making.
  • Engage with internal customers, providing clear, professional communication and support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provision and configure Oracle Cloud access for employees.
  • Add and maintain security privileges within HR systems.
  • Read, interpret, and monitor system log files.
  • Conduct auditing activities to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
  • Perform data comparison and analysis using Excel (including VLOOKUP).
  • Communicate with customers and stakeholders to resolve issues and provide guidance.
  • Support HR technology functions within Oracle Fusion (no programming required).

 

Departmental Preferences:

  • Unix experience

  • Understanding of Oracle Cloud Fusion functionality

  • Knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)

  • Experience with change management

 

The IT Analyst is responsible for helping business partners implement technology solutions by determining the requirements of a business unit, project, initiative, or program, and assisting teams in translating these requirements into user stories and features. The IT Analyst provides general analytical support across projects, initiatives, and business units, as well as the entire organization, and understands key business processes, key business drivers, short and long-term strategy, and related technologies. During development, the IT Analyst deals with issues and questions and provides support in implementing required changes. Additionally, the IT Analyst participates in planning and supports quality efforts.

  • Align technology solutions with business strategies comprised of low to moderately complex business processes.
  • Work with business unit managers, project managers, agile teams, and business stakeholders to identify and capture business problems and non-functional requirements.
  • Clearly communicates the organization’s options through the business case making full use of external research and industry-specific trends.
  • Prepare findings/takeaways/trends for discussion in planning meetings.
  • Understand the customer journey and assists with translation into user stories, leveraging Design Thinking concepts.
  • Aid team in performing technological assessments and assist in developing recommendations based on business relevance, appropriate timing, and deployment.
  • Develop recommendations for resolution of problems for review by other staff.
  • Assist the business in triaging issues and identifies business and process improvements.
  • Collaborate with Product/Platform/Service Managers, Delivery Managers and other agile team members on planning efforts related to their work.
  • Partner with the business to identify requirements and participate in user story discovery sessions and assist in the development of session documentation.
  • Work closely with product/platform/service managers/owners and engineers to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction.
  • Provides support, training, and problem-solving assistance to other analysts. 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred. Or equivalent work experience.
  • One to three (1-3) years of business, technical, and client technology work experience, including internships preferred.
  • Knowledge of business operations, systems requirements, development methodologies, and IT processes and technologies.
  • Requires technical, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Introductory knowledge of the insurance industry (e.g., members, eligibility, claims, etc.).
  • Analytical critical thinking, problem solving, metric interpretation; accuracy and attention to detail skills.
  • Written and verbal communication skills; interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with team members.
  • Ability to work independently, or within a team environment. 
  • Experience in eliciting requirements and performing testing.
  • Knowledge of Agile, DevSecOps, and Design Thinking methodologies.
  • Experience translating customer journeys into user stories.
  • Knowledge of information gathering, planning, and organizing methods and principles.
  • Experience in analyzing data to draw business-relevant conclusions and in data visualization techniques and tools.
  • Fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
  • Understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives.
  • Desired technical skills Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Structured Query Language (SQL), Quality Assurance (QA), Requirements Gathering, Functional Specifications, and Advanced Analysis.
  • Other related skills and/or abilities may be required to perform this job.
