Job Opportunity: Resident Care Assistants at Galleria Woods

Location: Hoover, Alabama
Unit: 24-bed Assisted Living Unit
Position: Part Time Resident Care Assistant
Shifts Available:

  • Per Diem:  6 a.m. - 2 p.m.  2 weekdays and every other weekend
  • Pay Rate: $12.50 - $13.25 per hour

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Prefer current nursing assistant certification (CNA) in the state of Alabama.
  • Current CPR and first aid certifications are a plus.
  • One or more years of experience as a CNA or Resident Care Associate.
  • Must enjoy working with the senior population.
  • Ability to pass a drug and criminal background check.
  • Excellent attendance record.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Transfer residents to and from activities and meals according to their individual service plans.
  • Serve meals to residents in the dining room or their apartments.
  • Record and report changes in residents’ eating habits to the supervisor.
  • Promote quality services within company, state, and federal regulations.
