Managing Director, CLO Portfolio Manager

Job Description:        

The Portfolio Manager will be part of the CLO Investment team and responsible for our European investing team and all portfolio management functions.

This is a great opportunity to join a leading CLO Platform and continued expansion in Europe.  The Portfolio Manager will also benefit from working in tandem with the CLO Management and Structuring teams.  

Responsibilities will include:

  • Senior member of team who works alongside the other PMs to manage fund strategies
  • Responsible for overseeing performance in funds and SMAs
  • Expand and develop investor relationships along with sales and marketing teams
  • Mange existing client inquiries related to the portfolios and be able to speak across platform
  • Identify and generate new trade ideas for investment rationales across strategies
  • Monitor existing investments, portfolios, and CLO manager exposures
  • Represent the views and activities of the Portfolio Management team
  • Performing manager due diligence meetings and calls

Qualifications:

Blackstone seeks to hire individuals who are highly motivated, intelligent, and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors as well as:

  • 10+ years of portfolio management, trading, or structuring experience in CLOs
  • Strong relationship management skills. Ability to identify client needs and create solutions
  • Collaborative individual who can foster strong working relationships with other internal groups
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Minimum required education: Bachelor's Degree
