About this role

We are hiring for a Shopper Marketing Executive to join our Brand Experience team.

 

Purpose:

 

This role delivers brand and shopper marketing activities making sure our brands are selected at the point of purchase (both digital and physical). This role ensures that brand and portfolio strategy comes to life with our retail partners and ensures activation delivers initiatives that turn shoppers into buyers of our brands.

 

This role is 12 months leave cover role reporting to a Brand Experience Manager. This role is expected to work from our NSW office – either in Surry Hills or Warriewood 3 days per week and from home 2 days per week.

 

Responsibilities include:

 

Brand Marketing Activation

  • Developing and rolling out executional pieces (including both digital and physical point of sale) and trade & consumer promotions support material, for all consumer campaigns and new product launches

  • Own the translation of the ATL campaign through to the instore environment using the insights & data analysis provided by the Category & Category Insights team members.  This involves:

    • Partnering with marketing to ensure that our activation is aligned to brand strategy and fully integrated with all touchpoints – right through the consumer and shopper journey

    • Partnering with our sales team (NAMs, Field Sales) to deliver high impact plans and activities that align to the objectives of our key customers – on time and in line with their execution requirements

    • In all cases, ensuring there is a clearly defined change in behaviour articulated (with success metrics identified)

  • Support the BEXP Manager to deliver conversion strategies, as well as category & POP ‘picture of success’ projects (e.g. to deliver a clear vision of what excellence looks like along the P2P)

  • Maintain customers’ Path To Purchase and ensure accurate campaign execution leveraging key touch points

  • Drive POS Efficiency to maximise efficient spend and effective activation of POS and fixed assets (PPUs

  • Develop and maintain the point-of-sale plan that includes executional excellence, budget management, creative design, SOP, allocations, quoting, Purchase Orders and Item Code Set-up. 

  • Own the pre-packed process from end to end

 

Stakeholder & Trade Communications Alignment

  • Align and communicate agreed priorities to key stakeholders to deliver impactful Grocery / Pharmacy / Practitioner campaigns on time and on budget.

  • Manage stakeholders in the pre packed off location process.

  • Manage integrated shopper campaigns in line with ANZ Objectives & Priorities & IMC calendar to ensure business wide priority alignment, enabling cross-functional relationships between Sales, Marketing and Field to maximise alignment between business units.

  • Maintain weekly project status meetings with both internal teams and agency partners to ensure best practice from project estimating and delivery through to post-campaign analysis.

 

Category / Sales / Marketing cohesion (“one plan”)

  • Together with the Category Development teams, build the rolling 18-month instore activity plan that flows through from the approved Brand activity plan.

  • Project manage and lead the development and execution of multi-channel shopper marketing campaigns that are fully commercialised and deliver on growth plans

  • Ensure all campaigns are insight-led, challenging the relevance where necessary to ensure gold standard for execution

  • Leverage use of data to gain and impart sound knowledge regarding shopper insights

  • Ensure we have clear KPIs that ladder up into sales / marketing / category BPRs, providing analysis when and where required

  • Understanding shopper dynamics by channel for Blackmores as well as the category, referencing where necessary on relevant campaign briefs;

  • Creating, sourcing and activating consumer & trade promotions for individual accounts. 

 

Budget management & supplier relationship management:

  • Ensure the BEXP Budget is up-to-date and coordinate month-end Expense Budget on a monthly basis.

  • Manage Supplier Relationships with all POS, printers and designers. Maintain a preferred supplier list and consistently cross quote to improve costs and retain competitive relationships

 

 

Who are you?

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration or project management related
  • At least 2 years or more work experience in shopper marketing, trade marketing or any Customer Marketing type roles with FMCG or related industries that has Grocery or Pharmacy sales channels.
  • Experience in shopper and retail research is desired.
  • Strong project management and communication skills to ensure successful collaboration with retailers and internal stakeholders.
