Purpose of role:
The Sales & Operations Manager manages key accounts across supermarkets, convenience stores, and ethical channels, driving growth and operational excellence. Responsibilities include executing sales strategies, managing forecasts and inventory, optimizing trade spend, ensuring seamless promotions, and leading merchandiser/agency teams to deliver superior in-store execution, supply chain efficiency, and customer service
Responsibilities include:
Sales Management
Achieve Net Sales, Trade Spend %, ROI, forecast accuracy, sell-out, and Stock-in-Trade (SIT) targets.
Lead annual Joint Business Planning (JBP) with strategic customers across pharmacy, supermarket, and ethical channels, aligning on shared KPIs and growth initiatives tracked via scorecards.
Manage trade terms and conduct monthly business reviews to improve productivity and ROI.
Develop execution standards for distribution, pricing, merchandising, and promotional effectiveness across all channels.
Operations Management
Oversee day-to-day operational processes to ensure smooth execution of sales plans.
Drive operational efficiency by aligning processes with customer requirements and internal standards.
Monitor service levels and resolve fulfillment issues promptly.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize operations and reduce costs.
Supply Chain & Inventory Coordination
Ensure accurate demand forecasting and timely replenishment to maintain optimal inventory levels.
Collaborate with supply chain teams to track service levels and resolve fulfillment issues.
Monitor inventory health for both national and retailer warehouses; implement corrective actions for overstock or shortages.
Relationship Management & Business Planning
Build and maintain strong relationships with major pharmacy, supermarket, and ethical accounts in Singapore.
Develop channel and customer prioritization strategies, growth plans, and resource allocation.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to deploy Blackmores plans effectively.
Review business results with Sales Lead and customers, manage gaps, and execute mitigation plans.
Category & Promotional Management
Maximize sales through improved shelving, display, promotions, and new product launches.
Ensure timely execution of marketing and promotional plans with key accounts.
Implement store drivers (range, space, promotion, display) and secure approvals for planograms and feature areas.
Who are you?
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field.
8-10 years of experience in sales and operations management, preferably in FMCG within Singapore
Familiarity with Singapore retail landscape, including supermarkets, ethical channels
Ability to work on various projects simultaneously, requiring strong organizational and time management skills
