Purpose of role:

 

This role will require close collaboration with GCR personnel, suppliers, regulators across China, Hong Kong and Taiwan, as well as working with Head Office Quality as required.

The main focus of this role will be on Commercial Quality activities for all GCR markets, including:

  1. Manage incoming product delivery issues across GCR.

  2. Manage the release of locally manufactured finished goods across GCR.

  3. To support and perform Quality Audits in the region as required.

  4. To support the development and implementation of Quality documentation and processes across GCR.

This role may also be required to support pre-market activities from time to time.

 

Responsibilities include: 

 

  • Manage and resolve warehouse / distribution issues and compliance, via NCRs. Eg, temperature excursion or other defects.
  • Attend the Distribution centre to assist in resolving product quality and GDP issues.
  • Assess returned product for approval before allowing re-supply.
  • Release for Supply activities for locally manufactured finished products across GCR.
  • Maintain local Quality batch documentation and retention samples.
  • Resolve product quality issues with local contract manufacturer as required. 
  • Co-ordinate local laboratory testing as required.
  • Perform on-site audits on local market or regional (GCR) manufactures as directed.
  • Perform on-site audit on regional (GCR) raw material manufacturers as directed.
  • Assist with authoring and managing GCR Quality Procedures to support GCR Quality Manual.
  • Provide local market recall support

 

Who are you?

  • Bachelor’s degree / Tertiary Education in relevant science field.

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience doing commercial quality for consumer healthcare, pharmaceutical or heavily regulated industry related. Working experience in a regulated GMP manufacturing environment is an added advantage.

  • Experiences in commercial quality is key. Additional knowledge in pre and post market activities will be an added advantage.

  • Knowledge of GMP / Quality Systems will be an added advantage.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills 

  • Uphold Quality standards in a commercial environment.

  • Ability to work across different markets

  • Fluent in Chinese and English both verbal and written
