We are hiring a Promotions & Activation Manager to join our Grocery team.
Purpose:
The Promotions & Activation Manager is responsible for supporting the development and execution of strategic plans across Coles and Woolworths to achieve Blackmores’ business objectives, including sales and profit targets. This role works closely with National Account Managers, VRP, Demand, Shopper, and Category teams within Blackmores, as well as Category Development Executives within each retailer.
Success in this position relies on building strong, aligned relationships with key stakeholders to drive mutual growth for both Blackmores and its customers.This role plays a critical role in ensuring all promotional strategies deliver maximum impact in the grocery channel. This is role reports to the Head of Grocery & Emerging Channels and will be expected to be based in our NSW worksites – Surry Hills or Warriewood based. We have a hybrid workplace of 3 days in office and 2 days from home.
Responsibilities include:
Deliver first class execution across both Grocery Accounts whilst minimising clashing and driving the best outcome for both Coles, Woolworths and Blackmores
Understanding and knowledge of the customer, category, industry and competitors including the impact of activities to Blackmores as well as building the reputation of Blackmores externally
Executing brand exposure across both Grocery Accounts to achieve first class promotional execution to drive Sales & Share
Management of External Field Force (Crossmark), ensuring full compliance to promotional activity and Budget planning across both Accounts
Forecast alignment to ensure promotional volumes are inline with expectations
Support Blackmores internal S&OE process to ensure Grocery VRP and Blackmores Internal Demand/Supply are across key Activity within Grocery to ensure first class execution
Work closely with Shopper & Category on Digital, END, Catalogue & OFD to align on recommendations to drive activations further, deliver Market Share gains & penetration across both Customers
Work in conjunction with the NAM & Marketing to ensure Promotional Plans across Customers is inline with ATL and BTL activations whilst ensuring key CGP timings are adhered to. Delivering on Business Focus Segments to ensure full alignment through the business is delivered
Execution of the aligned Promotional Program across both Customers and filling out all required documentation to both Coles and Woolworths
Full analysis review post promotional execution to ensure ROI, NS, GP%, Customer Margin etc are met
Championing Grocery across the Business.

Who are you?
Possess a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or any related courses.
Possess relevant work experience of at least 3 years or more in a similar promotional or activation role in consumer healthcare, FMCG or beauty or similar industry which deals with the grocery channel.
Working knowledge of using Nielsen/IQVIA related data and possess financial literacy to analyse profit and loss statements to ensure promotional effectiveness.
Strong skillset across Microsoft Office with Excel being critical to role
Strong stakeholder management and cross functional collaboration skills to build commercial relationships with key customer and internal stakeholders.
