Purpose of role:

This role is pivotal in driving the growth of the e-Commerce platform through marketplaces by unlocking business potential across e-Commerce channels—from strategy to execution. It also leads the digital transformation journey and empowers colleagues across the organization through e-Commerce upskilling.

Responsibilities include:

Lead and Champion:

  • Drive and execute the E-Commerce Agenda 
  • Drive insight-based online marketing strategies and lead the development and implementation of E-Commerce specific shopper activation plans and customized promotions by online platforms
  • Champion digital transformation agendas in internally and externally
  • Ensure the regular market analysis / promotion evaluation is undertaken to identify category issues and opportunities by platform with recommendations to maximize opportunities. 
  • Able to identify opportunity and challenge of the category by e-retailer's sales data, retail audit, shopper research and any data available. 
  • Monitor analyse and leverage market trends, consumer behaviour and competitor information to deliver effective trade marketing activities based on understanding of products and target customer groups.

Sales and Market Intelligence

  • Being instrumental in building business relationships with Naver Smart Store, Coupang, Kakao and any other related key E-retailers 
  • Support Blackmores appointed E-distributor to perform day-to-day operations as a principal
  • To be the key liaison for internal processes as a representative from the Sales team
  • Brief agencies on creative requirements and ensure seamless execution with key E-retailers
  • To perform post-campaign analyses to ensure key learnings are recorded and implemented

Promotions, Pricing and Trade Investment 

  • Demonstrate a depth of understanding of how promotions can change consumer behaviour and without forfeiting price competitiveness for the e-retailer by focussing on the other values shopper’s place on our products
  • Provide recommendations to optimise trade spend
  • Develop, implement and review trade promotional initiatives to ensure Blackmores ROI and competitive position are maximised
  • Provide promotional strategy and direction for all key lines and NPD

Who are you?

  • Recognised degree in Business Marketing or in other related discipline
  • Minimum 6 years’ experience in successful track records of Account Management or Program Management or Category Management experience in e-commerce industry (Naver / Coupang).
  • Working experience in FMCG and VDS with proven track record will be added advantage
  • Strong data analysis skills, proficiency in Excel, demonstrated ability to interpret data and make business recommendations using data analysis tools.
  • Able to think strategically and creatively while executing methodically with high attention to detail, operational excellence and ability to multi-task.
  • Team player with strong persuasion skills able to drive consensus across different sales channels.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, results-driven and must have an aptitude for solving unstructured problems.
  • Able to extract data from various sources and to design/ construct/ execute complex analyses to finally come up with data/ reports that help solve the business problem. 
  • Fluent English (Speaking & Written) Proficiency in both Korean & English is highly desirable
  • Strong strategic thinking and executional skills, capable of building for simplicity, scale and repeatability
