  • Knowledge Management: Create and maintain centralized documentation of metrics definitions, data sources, and analytical methodologies to institutionalize knowledge
  • Partner with Product, Engineering & Leadership: Collaborate with Data Product, Engineering and Finance to help build the right data foundation
  • Own data governance from a product perspective: Set up data governance processes and communicate throughout Product Lines; enable data accuracy and integrity by working closely with teams to define tracking specifications and validate implementation.
  • Shape product strategy with data-driven insights: Translate data into clear, actionable insights and strategic recommendations to improve product performance and business outcomes
  • Develop self-service analytics tools: Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and self-service tools to democratize access to product data and to empower teams
  • Stay current with analytics trends, tools, and methodologies to continuously improve analytical capabilities.

Qualifications

  • 8-10+ years of experience in product analytics, with demonstrated ability to build analytics capabilities in growth-stage or maturing organizations
  • Prior experience as founding or establishing the function is preferred
  • Proficiency in SQL (required) and at least one analytical programming language (Python, R)
  • Experience with modern analytics stacks and AI-powered analytics tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT for analysis)
  • Experience with BI and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
  • Proven experience leading analytics initiatives and partnering with product teams
  • Strong analytical thinking with ability to translate ambiguous business questions into structured analytical approaches
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills, able to develop insights for stakeholders
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to lead cross-functional discussions and initiatives
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field, with a strong understanding of machine learning concepts.
  • Familiarity with development processes and tools like JIRA or Confluence
