Job Purpose:

The Shop Hand will aid in the performance of inspections, testing and preventative maintenance of company equipment supplied for rental and/or sale, and possible service of customer equipment.  

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Pulling orders for delivery

• Assisting in inventory control, counts, reorganizations, etc.
• Operation of forklift
• Working with ERP system regarding inventory and order management
• Palletizing, prepping products for shipment

• Assist in load testing as needed
• Ensures accurate documentation is used throughout process. (bills of laden, packing slips, shipping manifests, and photos.) 
• Supervises the accurate completion of shipping, packing, crating, and documentation, as per customer specs 
• Pulling stock items for sales orders, staging orders for will call, ensuring local delivery and commercial carrier pick up
• Identify and count inbound purchase orders
• Unload/Load trucks for delivery/receiving
• Perform other functions as required

Job Requirements:

• Ability to operate a forklift, pallet jack, and Manlift equipment. (OJT provided)
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Ability to operate hydraulic machinery. (OJT provided)

• Application of hand tools and power tools to perform disassembly, clean, repair and reassemble.

• Able to read, understand and interpret parts manuals as well as production orders with mechanical instructions. 
• Ability to maintain work area clean and free from known hazards.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test, physical, and background check. 
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
