Job Description:

Pharmacist - Pharmacy

PRN - Variance in schedule

Job Description:

  • Responsible for performing and/or supervising all tasks associated with drug procurement, drug distribution, and maintenance of required records.

  • Also responsible for insuring and promoting safe, effective, and efficient use of pharmaceutical products.

Requirements:

  • Current Pharmacist License as issued by the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy and Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree required, or higher.

  • Knowledge of the specialized practice of hospital pharmacy required.

  • Excellent organizational skills as well as good oral and written communication skills required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PGY1 Residency is preferred for new graduates. 

  • Experience in unit dose distribution and IV admixture/compounded sterile products preferred.
