About the Opportunity:


We are seeking a motivated and detail oriented intern to support the Fixed Assets team. The intern will assist with fixed asset accounting, reconciliations, data validation, reporting, and process improvements. This role offers hands on experience in end to end fixed asset management within a multinational business environment.


Key Accountabilities:

 

  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to health, safety, environmental responsibility, and sustainable development in all work activities.
  • Assist in the preparation and processing of Project and Fixed Asset transactions, including but not limited to WBS setup, AUC management, asset capitalization, and asset disposals.
  • Support Specialists and Leads in preparing required documentation for Project and Fixed Asset activities, including period end close tasks.
  • Assist in performing analysis and reconciliation of relevant general ledger and subledger accounts.
  • Support the compilation of documentation for internal and external audits as required.
  • Assist with analysis and resolution of queries related to Project and Fixed Asset transactions.
  • Provide support to team members and collaborate effectively to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the team.
  • Support fixed asset and project data clean up activities as assigned. 

 

About You:

 

  • Pursuing or holding a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles; exposure to fixed assets is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables preferred).
  • Analytical, organized, and detail oriented.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
