Purpose of the Role

BGIS is seeking a Facilities Administrator to support assurance activities and facilities administration within a major aviation precinct at Sydney Airport. Reporting to the Risk & Compliance Manager, this role plays an important part in maintaining accurate records, supporting assurance outcomes, and ensuring smooth day-to-day administration.

Working closely with operational, compliance and client stakeholders, you will help coordinate documentation, systems updates and client facing processes in a fast-paced, highly visible environment.

The ideal candidate is organised, approachable and detail-focused, with a calm communication style and a genuine interest in supporting safe, compliant operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support assurance activities by gathering, documenting and closing out findings in line with required timeframes
  • Maintain registers, records and evidence within digital systems
  • Liaise with internal teams to support governance, compliance and reporting requirements
  • Administer parking access, applications and enquiries across airport sites
  • Manage stakeholder communications with a professional, service-oriented approach
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and reduce repeat findings

Education, Experience & Skills

Essential:

  • Proven experience in administration, coordination or office-based roles
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Confidence using digital systems and learning new platforms
  • Customer-focused approach with strong stakeholder interaction skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities

Desirable:

  • Experience in corporate, aviation, infrastructure or regulated environments
  • Exposure to assurance, compliance or governance processes
  • Familiarity with access control or facilities systems
  • Experience supporting risk, compliance or operational teams

Workplace Flexibility

This position is based full-time on-site at Mascot Airport, Monday to Friday during core business hours. Free on-site parking is available once security clearance is obtained.
