BGE goes beyond competitive benefits to attract and retain the best in an environment that inspires excellence.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p></div><p><strong>Position can be located at our Houston or The Woodlands office</strong></p> <p><strong>Job Description&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>Independently evaluate, select, and apply standard surveying techniques, procedures, and criteria, using judgment in making minor adaptations and modifications</li> <li>Plan, schedules conduct, or coordinate detailed phases of the surveying work in a part of a major project or in a total project of moderate scope</li> <li>Perform work that involves conventional surveying practice but may include a variety of complex features</li> <li>Direct conversations with clients at beginning, during, and end of projects</li> <li>Capable of supervising or coordinating the work of surveyors, technicians, and others who assist in specific assignments</li> <li>Seal professional surveying documents</li> </ul> <p><strong>Job Requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li>SIT or RPLS Licensure/DOT Precertification required</li> <li>8 yrs plus of experience in Land Surveying</li> <li>Strong Computer Skills, working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation and Microsoft Office&nbsp;</li> <li>Prior experience with civil engineering projects preferred</li> <li>Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of BGE employees, clients, and others</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p><div class="content-conclusion"><p>Some of our Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>401k Match: 100% up to 4% of your contributions with immediate vesting + 3% Safe Harbor Contribution with immediate vesting</li> <li>Merit-Based Bonus Compensation</li> <li>Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance; BGE contributes to HSA on eligible plans</li> <li>9 paid Holidays, including 3 Floating holidays</li> <li>Personal Time Allowances&nbsp;</li> <li>2 to 4 weeks of Vacation, depending on experience-level.
