BGE goes beyond competitive benefits to attract and retain the best in an environment that inspires excellence.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p></div><p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Lead environmental investigations, including Phase I/II ESAs, wetland delineations, species assessments, and ecological field studies.</li> <li>Manage multiple projects, ensuring quality, compliance, schedules, and budgets.</li> <li>Review environmental data, reports, and permits; provide regulatory guidance for federal, state, and local requirements.</li> <li>Prepare technical reports, permit applications, and client communications.</li> <li>Coordinate with regulatory agencies on permitting and compliance.</li> <li>Mentor junior scientists and support team collaboration across disciplines.</li> <li>Build and maintain client relationships.</li> <li>Conduct fieldwork and travel as required.</li> </ul> <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p> <p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, Biology, Geology, or related field.</li> <li>4+ years of relevant experience (ESA Phase I/II, wetlands, species permitting, ecological surveys).</li> <li>Strong technical and business‑writing skills.</li> <li>Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently or on a team.</li> <li>Proficiency in MS Office; ArcGIS knowledge or interest preferred.</li> <li>Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and client‑service orientation.</li> <li>Willingness to travel and perform fieldwork.</li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"><p>Some of our Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>401k Match: 100% up to 4% of your contributions with immediate vesting + 3% Safe Harbor Contribution with immediate vesting</li> <li>Merit-Based Bonus Compensation</li> <li>Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance; BGE contributes to HSA on eligible plans</li> <li>9 paid Holidays, including 3 Floating holidays</li> <li>Personal Time Allowances&nbsp;</li> <li>2 to 4 weeks of Vacation, depending on experience-level.
