About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated Porter to join our team in the Real Estate and Rental and Leasing industry. As a Porter, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our properties, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for our tenants and guests. You will work closely with our property management team to ensure that all maintenance requests are addressed in a timely and efficient manner.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects, such as furniture and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in the Real Estate and Rental and Leasing industry
- Knowledge of basic maintenance and repair techniques
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment, such as vacuums and floor buffers
Responsibilities:
- Perform daily cleaning and upkeep of common areas, including lobbies, hallways, and elevators
- Assist with the preparation of vacant units for new tenants, including cleaning and minor repairs
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the property management team
- Assist with the coordination of vendor services, such as landscaping and waste removal
- Provide exceptional customer service to tenants and guests, responding to inquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner
Skills:
As a Porter, you will utilize your strong attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure that our properties are well-maintained and presentable. You will also use your excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide exceptional customer service to our tenants and guests. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to utilize your knowledge of basic maintenance and repair techniques to assist with the preparation of vacant units and the coordination of vendor services. Finally, you will use your ability to operate cleaning equipment to ensure that our properties are clean and well-maintained.
