Responsibilities

POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking an experienced Azure Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and manage secure, scalable, and resilient cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure. This role focuses on hybrid cloud architecture, governance, and operational excellence to support enterprise digital transformation in the retail industry.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• Develop and implement Azure IaaS solutions, including Virtual Machines, networking, and hybrid connectivity (VPN, ExpressRoute).
• Apply Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework and Well-Architected Framework principles.
• Implement Zero Trust security models using Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, and Defender for Cloud.
• Enforce governance with Azure Policy, RBAC, and compliance standards.
• Configure Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and alerts for performance and security.
• Manage backup and disaster recovery with Azure Backup and Site Recovery.
• Create Infrastructure-as-Code templates using ARM or Bicep.
• Develop PowerShell scripts and automation runbooks for operational efficiency.
• Work closely with stakeholders to support cloud migration and optimize Azure investments.
• Provide technical guidance and best practices to internal teams and customers.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of IT experience.
• Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator (AZ-104), Azure Solutions Architect (AZ-305) preferred.
• Occasional infrequent in person activity may be required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with Azure Arc, Azure Stack HCI, and multi-cloud environments.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals and virtualization technologies.
• Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
