About the Role
Job Title: Staff Product Manager
Location: Toronto, Canada Location Type: Hybrid (3 days in office in Downtown Toronto for GTA residents; remote for others)
Team: Product
We are seeking a Staff Product Manager who combines deep product craft with technical execution. You will own core areas of our B2B SaaS platform, driving product strategy, roadmap, and delivery for customer-facing features. Simultaneously, you will design, build, and launch internal AI-powered tools that multiply the productivity of our product organization.
This dual mandate makes you a force multiplier. You will ship product for customers while building the AI infrastructure that accelerates how we build. You thrive in ambiguity, write code when needed, and understand that the best product managers automate themselves out of repetitive work.
What You'll Do
Core Product Management (60-70% of your time):
- Own and drive the roadmap for key product areas within our B2B SaaS platform, with a focus on features that deliver measurable customer value.
- Define product strategy and specifications in collaboration with engineering, design, and GTM teams.
- Conduct user research, competitive analysis, and data analysis to inform product decisions and prioritization.
- Ship and iterate: Launch features, measure impact, and continuously improve based on customer feedback and usage data.
- Work cross-functionally with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer success to ensure successful product delivery and adoption.
Internal AI Productivity Tools (30-40% of your time):
- Design, build, and launch a suite of internal AI-powered tools to automate and enhance our product management workflows. This includes:
- Automated Market & User Insights: Build systems that ingest and synthesize competitor updates, industry news, user feedback, and product usage data to generate actionable insights.
- AI-Assisted Product Development: Create tools that leverage LLMs to assist in generating product specifications, user stories, and documentation.
- Intelligent Workflow Automation: Connect internal systems (Jira, Slack, Figma, CRM) to create automated workflows that reduce manual overhead.
- Build and manage data pipelines that power internal AI tools, ensuring data quality and reliability.
- Evangelize AI-driven productivity within the product organization, enabling teams to leverage AI in their workflows.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for a candidate who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.
Minimum Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in product management at B2B SaaS companies, with a track record of shipping customer-facing products.
- Strong technical background with hands-on software development experience. You can read and write code, understand system architecture, and can build tools when needed.
- Experience with AI technologies, including building applications with LLMs, prompt engineering, and RAG concepts.
- Proven ability to ship products end-to-end, from strategy and discovery through launch and iteration.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across engineering, design, and business stakeholders.
- Data fluency: Comfortable with SQL, analytics tools, and using data to drive product decisions.
- Bias for action and entrepreneurial mindset, with ability to build in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building internal tools or platform products that improved team productivity.
- Hands-on experience with Cursor, custom full-stack development, or workflow automation tools (Zapier, Make, n8n).
- Portfolio of AI projects or side projects demonstrating technical depth.
- Experience with data pipelines, ETL processes, or database management.
Why This is a Great Opportunity
- Dual Impact: Ship customer-facing products while building the AI infrastructure that multiplies team effectiveness.
- Technical Depth: Use your engineering skills in a product role—build tools, not just specs.
- Cutting-Edge AI: Work at the forefront of AI application to product management workflows.
- High Visibility: Direct impact on both product delivery and organizational productivity, with clear path to leadership.
