Job DetailsJob Location: Main Office - Winder, GA 30680Position Type: Full TimeMinistry Purpose: Consistent with Romans 12:9-15 and Ephesians 4:11-12, all Bethlehem Church employees are responsible for assisting the Lead Pastor and staff in carrying out the daily ministry functions of Bethlehem Church and all other duties as assigned.
Job Description: To lead, disciple, and develop college students and young adults (typically ages 18–29) into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and active participation in the life and mission of the church.
Job Classification: Full-time / Exempt
Reports to: Next Gen Pastor
Key Responsibilities:
Create welcoming, relational environments where students/young adults can belong
Be highly present in the lives of college students and young adults through relationships, gatherings, and informal connections
Provide pastoral care, encouragement, and spiritual guidance
Develop pathways for young adults to grow spiritually through community, mentoring, and small groups
Recruit, train, and care for volunteer leaders and young adult leaders
Build leadership teams that reflect the culture of the community
Help college students and young adults find meaningful connections beyond their peer group by encouraging, serving, generosity, and participation across Bethlehem Church ministries.
Partner with staff and ministry leaders to create a seamless on-ramp into church life
Equip young adults to live on mission in their everyday lives
Shape ministry rhythms, gatherings, and events to prioritize connection and consistency
Participate in annual evaluations
Complete other tasks as assigned

- The College & Young Adults Pastor is responsible for leading, discipling, and developing college students and young adults in their relationship with Jesus Christ. This includes creating welcoming environments, providing pastoral care, and building leadership teams.
