Job Description

The Design and UX department is responsible for creating impactful designs to enhance the user experience and to explore new features. The team acts as the custodian of our brands, carefully considering all design decisions that align seamlessly with both user needs and our strategic business goals.

Working within the design team, you will be responsible for organising workflow within the department, ensuring that product and brand design projects transition smoothly throughout the design lifecycle and beyond.

Working with cross-functional teams, you will bring the right people together to collaborate, gather complex requirements, plan, coordinate, and document projects effectively, and manage realistic delivery expectations.

This role is eligible for inclusion in the Company’s hybrid working from home policy.

Qualifications

  • Solid project coordination experience, preferably in a fast paced, creative environment.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and overcoming project challenges.
  • Adaptive to changing priorities and feedback while maintaining a positive and collaborative approach.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to guide cross-functional teams in a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • High attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high-quality design standards throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Good understanding of our products, features, offers, and brands.
  • Experience using Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch, Jira.
  • Familiarity with frontend technologies, such as HTML/CSS.

Additional Information

  • Overseeing the design lifecycle, ensuring projects are completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Working closely with key stakeholders to gather requirements, set project goals and estimates, facilitate design sign off, and ensure alignment throughout the design process.
  • Managing the workflow of design projects, prioritising tasks, allocating resources effectively, arranging design feedback sessions and project handovers.
  • Facilitating clear and effective communication between cross-functional teams, ensuring that all parties are informed of project status, changes, and expectations.
  • Maintaining comprehensive project documentation to ensure transparency.
  • Identifying potential challenges in the design process and proactively developing solutions to keep designers unblocked and projects on track.
  • Scheduling regular catch-ups with designers to troubleshoot any design support questions and to resource their activities.
  • Facilitating the interaction between the designers, frontend and UI developers to arrange prototypes.
  • Ensuring all relevant teams are engaged for new products, features and brand work, and request translations where necessary.
  • Ensuring regulatory and legal compliance is obtained where necessary for all design artefacts.
