About this role

To further strengthen its position and capitalize on future market potential, Produal is now seeking a hands‑on commercial leader to develop our valves and actuators portfolio for global sales while accelerate solution sales in Italy.

Your key responsibilities in this dual role:

1. Own Group-level Valves & Actuators business development

  • Scout and evaluate complementary third‑party valves and actuators to enhance our offering and meet global sales needs.

  • Ensure seamless commercial and technical integration of these products into our overall HVAC portfolio.

  • Build and maintain tools, documentation, and training materials that enable sales excellence across the organization.

  • Provide training for global sales teams to ensure strong understanding and adoption of the V&A portfolio.

  • Support procurement and product management with insights on product suitability, market gaps, and partnership opportunities.

2. Lead Italy´s shift from products to solutions

  • Design and execute the go‑to‑market strategy for HVAC solutions in Italy.

  • Identify and engage consultants, planners, system integrators, contractors, OEMs and key end customers to position Produal as a true solution provider.

  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of integrated solution opportunities that combine multiple product lines and technologies.

  • Guide customers and sales teams with both technical and commercial expertise throughout project development.

  • Influence project specifications and technical documentation early in the process.

  • Monitor market trends and customer needs; map competitor activities and opportunities for differentiation.

  • Collaborate closely with local/regional sales, global Product Management, and Marketing to strengthen our solution offering and market presence.

Your work directly supports our Strategy 2030 focus on creating segmented solutions and introducing valves & actuators to our offering across markets.

What we are looking for:

  • Education: Degree in Mechanical/Energy Engineering or equivalent technical background.

  • Experience: 8–10 years in HVAC sales with proven exposure to both product and solution/system sales combined with experience of managing third‑party portfolios.

  • Technical depth: Solid technical understanding of HVAC systems, valves, actuators, and related components; ability to review technical documentation available for sales opportunities, projects and tenders.

  • Market knowledge: Strong understanding of the Italian HVAC ecosystem, key players, channels, and influencers.

  • Languages: Fluent English and Italian.

  • Tools: Comfortable using CRM/ERP, MS Office, and design/technical tools related to HVAC applications.

  • Travel: Up to ~60%, domestic and international.

  • As a person you are commercially sharp, technically confident, structured, analytical, collaborative, and entrepreneurial — someone who thrives in a multinational environment.
