Purpose of the Role:
Handles Canal region by managing a sales team in order to maximize sales revenue and meet or exceed corporate set goals.
Main Accountabilities:
- Responsible for communicating volume forecasts and leading the execution of business plans to deliver them.
- Works frequently with Section Manager & Sales Reps, (at all levels of the trade) to understand customer system/needs and develops effective approaches that exploit these systems for better business results.
- Takes a proactive leadership role in selling to customers, anticipating, and resolving emerging problems.
- Provides timely and accurate communication between field, distribution, and accounting.
- Works with his counterparts (at the distributor) to develop more efficient systems (invoicing, data systems, HR issues ... etc.)
- Manages all budgets and allocations.
- Commits with 70% field work to master all the job activities and priorities.
- Responsible for creating unit structure that leads to best productivity results.
- Ensures the right coverage for every trade channel.
- Analyze the unit results, action plans, and update management with progress through a monthly letter.
Qualifications and experience
- 5+ years of FMCG Sales experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or relevant degree.
