Overview
A leadership role responsible for overseeing daily operations in diagnostic imaging nursing, combining clinical expertise with management responsibilities.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities Leadership & Management
- Assists Director/Manager with technical management and daily operations
- Creates and maintains team schedules
- Serves as technical expert for diagnostic imaging nursing
- Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements (Joint Commission, American College of Radiology
- Supervises and mentors nursing and ancillary staff
Clinical Duties
- Assists Radiologists with invasive procedures and moderate sedation
- Provides direct patient care in diagnostic imaging setting
- Administers medications and contrast under physician supervision
- Maintains sterile techniques during procedures
- Ensures radiation safety protocols are followed
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- RN Diploma/Graduate Program
- ACLS Certification
- Diagnostic imaging experience preferred
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Experience with electronic health records
Working Environment
- Fast-paced diagnostic imaging department
- Requires ability to work under pressure
- Must maintain patient confidentiality
- Involves collaboration with diverse healthcare team members

James Beebe and Richard C. Beebe, the hospital on the Margaret H. Rollins Health Campus in Lewes, is a 210-licensed-bed, not-for-profit community hospital.
Beebe's specialized service lines include cardiac and vascular, oncology, orthopedics, population and community health, women's health, and surgical services.
In addition to the Margaret H. Rollins Lewes Campus, Beebe operates two additional health campuses.
