Position Summary
Production Associate II (Back-Up Line Lead) is responsible for the assembly and packaging of Finished Goods (FG) and is expected to perform with high focus on quality, productivity, and safety in accordance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs), company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and safety regulations. The Production Associate II (Back-Up Line Lead) performs various manufacturing tasks. The Production Associate II (Back-Up Line Lead) has been trained to the Line Lead I role and can run an assembly line as needed.
Responsibilities and Essential Duties
- Follow all company GMPs and SOPs. • Follow company guidelines and Safety practices.
- Ability to work fast-paced lines.
- Able to cover all positions.
- Cooperative/positive attitude.
- Willing to work extended hours when needed.
- Perform various manufacturing tasks including placing bottles on the production line, capping, labeling, packing, carton assembly, etc.
- Perform inspection of Finished Good units and codes to ensure quality.
- Maintain good housekeeping.
- Participate in machine/parts cleaning; contribute to speedy and on time start-up and/or changeover.
- Good attendance and punctuality.
- The Back-Up Line Lead:
- Has been trained on the responsibilities of the Line Lead I role.
- They have read the Line Lead I’s training, as well as completed hands on training.

Technical Skills Required

- Able to work in a fast-paced work environment.
- Basic math skills
Experience Required
- At least 1 year of Manufacturing experience.
Physical Requirements
- Regularly sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time.
- Ability to sit, balance, climb, stand, bend, squat, squeeze, kneel, turn, crouch, stoop repeatedly.
- Physically able to lift 50 pounds.
- Frequent exposure to varying temperatures, loud noises, heavy machinery, fumes, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, electrical, chemicals, and vibrations.
- Frequent use of computer screen.
- Must be able to discern differences in colors and shades.
- Must be able to read labels that could contain small fonts.
- Exposure to repetitive motions (making substantial movements/motions of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers).
