At a Glance

As an Events Operations Lead, you are focused on ensuring operational excellence and execution of day-today activities at Demo Spaces within assigned regions, managing tech at client locations, and serving as the product experience expert for the Meta event team. This includes managing onsite client technology and a team of Demo Specialists to ensure a seamless white-glove experience for event attendees. The Events Operations Lead will lead training sessions on cutting-edge technologies for various audiences as well as serve as training experts in deliverables for a team of product demo specialists. The Events Operations Lead will serve as a strategic liaison between management and employees to optimize performance and deliver exceptional results. Additionally, this role involves collaborating with key stakeholders to enhance the brand experience and achieve overarching goals. The ideal candidate would excel in communication and organization and exhibit advanced emotional intelligence and have a well-developed executive presence.

 

You are required to work in the Meta office 3 days a week.  Up to 10% travel is required to attend events.

Minimum Pay

USD $75,000.00/Yr.

Maximum Pay

USD $85,000.00/Yr.

What You'll Do

  • Manage and maintain the execution of day-to-day activities and logistics of Demo Spaces within the assigned region; ensure a standard of excellence in all on-site execution duties of the program
  • Lead and facilitate training sessions and events for demonstrations of XR/AI technologies, in additionto overseeing an internal training program focusing on public policy across the region
  • Conduct training sessions for local Meta employees and agency staff to proficiently deliver product demonstrations
  • Manage device deployment and scale demo spaces across key regional offices, ensuring efficient management and deployment of event kits
  • Complete all required reporting and analysis within specified timeframes
  • Act as a strategic liaison between management and employees, wielding decision-making authority to drive business and operational outcomes
  • Act as the primary point of contact and on-site management for employees, offering guidance/support, and conduct performance management activities as needed
  • Complete all required reporting and analysis by the required deadlines
  • Partner closely with the Account Team and client to meet and exceed goals, while improving the brand experience for customers
  • Other duties as assigned by management

What You'll Bring

Experience and Education: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 3+ years of retail management experience required
  • 3+ years of customer-facing experience in retail required
  • Experience conducting production demonstrations required
  • Experience in client management and working effectively with key stakeholders
  • Experience with AR/VR and gaming technology preferred

Skills and Attributes: 

  • Strong interpersonal communication, soft skills, written, verbal, and on-camera
  • Proficient in delivering product demonstrations to audiences of varying sizes, both small and large 
  • Ability to foster business relationships and collaborate at multiple levels (internal & client facing) 
  • Ability to show patience and tact and remain calm under pressure during change
  • Strong time management and organizational skills  
  • Proficient in utilizing G Suite, MS Office, Keynote, and other word processing and presentation software
  • Ability to practice good judgment in analyzing information, strategic/critical thinking, and decision-making, with minimal direction
  • Ability to adhere to processes, procedures, and project management techniques

  • Regularly talk, sit, stand, walk and bend over, repetitive use of hands/arms, repetitive use of legs and grasp 
  • Frequently lift and carry up to 25 lbs 
  • Occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs 
  • Continuous hand/eye coordination and fine manipulation 
  • Able to travel by air and car up to 60% of the time

The pay range for this position is based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to relevant experience, education, skills, internal equity, and market data. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process and may vary based on individual qualifications and business needs. All compensation will comply with applicable federal, state, and local minimum wage laws and regulations.
