About this role

Job Summary:

The Experienced Senior, Forensics is an individual who demonstrates experience, skillsets, and autonomy in process and system implementation. The Experienced Senior, Forensics is responsible for validating, analyzing, and reporting on client business requirements, supervising, and reviewing the work of Associates, working with the Engagement Manager, interacting with clients, and contributing to practice and business development initiatives.

This role works a sporadic and fluctuating schedule.
 

Job Duties:
•    Participates in project scoping and the translation of business and program requirements into Fusion system and technical requirements
•    Provides program implementation services in the Fusion Risk Management (Fusion) platform to a variety of clients 
•    Documents requirements for client validation and user acceptance testing
•    Works with Fusion architect to ensure viability and sustainability of configuration solutions
•    Stays apprised of the latest releases and functionality in Fusion 
•    Follows codified deployment and change set procedures 
•    Supports forensic assignments related to program and process implementation
•    Develops and executes data ingestion, cleansing, and tracking processes 
•    Analyzes data sets 
•    Prepares high-quality deliverables to ensure client satisfaction
•    Maintains a proactive and logical approach to information gathering, combining complex ideas, and clear and effective information presentation
•    Contributes to and leads internal initiatives to improve processes, develop standard procedures, research new tools, and create new offerings
•    Builds strong internal relationships within BDO’s forensics practice and with other services across the Firm
•    Acts with professionalism and integrity when working with confidential and sensitive information
Supervisory Responsibilities:
•    Supervises the day-to-day workload of Senior Associate and Experienced Associates on assigned engagements and reviews work product 
 

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Education:
•    Associate’s Degree, required
•    Bachelor’s degree, preferred

Experience:
•    Three (3) or more years of experience in client-facing data analytics consulting, required
•    Three (3) or more years of experience in process definition, required
•    Experience in maintaining client relationships, preferred
•    Experience in the following areas, preferred: 
o    Business Continuity
o    Risk and Compliance 
o    IT Disaster recovery
o    Crisis Management
o    Software Deployment 
o    Compliance Operations
o    Design Thinking Methodologies

License/Certifications:
•    Fusion Risk Management or Salesforce, preferred 
•    Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle certifications, preferred
•    Tableau or Power BI certification, preferred

Software:
•    Experience with Salesforce or Fusion Risk Management, preferred
•    Ability to write SQL queries and manage large data sets within SQL Server or other databases to support various forensic reporting, preferred
•    Experience with data profiling and data management tools, preferred
•    Experience with data visualization software, preferred

•    Ability to work with a high degree of professionalism and autonomy
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•    Ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner
•    Strong organizational skills, especially the ability to meet project deadlines with a focus on details
•    Ability to successfully multi-task while working independently or within a group environment
•    Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment, and handle multiple projects simultaneously 
•    Ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels of the Firm 
•    Ability to design, implement, and research best practices
•    Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and client personnel 
•    Ability to encourage a team environment on engagements
•    Strong client presence, with the ability to act as primary contact on assigned engagements

Individual salaries that are offered to a candidate are determined after consideration of numerous factors including but not limited to the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and geography.

National Range: $50.00/hr - $60.00hr
Maryland Range: $50.00/hr - $60.00hr
NYC/Long Island/Westchester Range: $50.00/hr - $60.00hr
California Range: $50.00/hr - $60.00hr
