About this role

Responsbilities: 

 

Compliance

 

  • Acts as coordinator for compliance-related requests including but not limited to BSP surveys and queries, internal and external audit reports.
  • Assists in collecting and reviewing reports related to related party transactions, regulatory, external and internal audit requirements.
  • Provides non-related party comparables to Relationship Managers handling related party accounts to ensure compliance with regular reporting of benchmarking templates.
  • Provides inputs on policy changes and ensures that policies are aligned with processes of Institutional Banking Group.
  • To provide inputs on how to improve internal processes and resolve bottlenecks that affect the Business Unit’s ability to meet compliance requirements within internal and regulatory policies. 

 

Operational Risk Management

 

  • Assists in preparation and submission of operational risk management requirements of IBG and jointly with the Operations and Support Units.
  • Conducts periodic review of key risk indicators.
  • Provides support in the implementation of said operational risk management strategy within IBG. 

 

Qualifications: 

 

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Legal Management, Audit, or MIS from a reputable university.
  • Preferably with at least five years’ experience as a Compliance officer or Auditor. 
  • Established experience in audit, corporate governance or compliance
