Responsibilities:
- To be familiar with the relevant estate, tax, and succession laws in conjunction with trust regulations; if necessary, attend client meetings together with the trust advisor to understand client’s needs;
- To propose certain trust structures compliant with Philippine laws and rules, identifies and monitors legal risks, and draft the relevant documents
- To do such other necessary things. [B] As a legal advisor to the trust department, he is expected to evaluate internal (e.g., operations, investments) and external (e.g., clients/counterparties) legal concerns affecting group, review documents, keeps himself abreast of relevant legal developments, do in-depth legal research, propose solutions, draft the necessary documents, and such other necessary things.
