Description

BDO Ireland is seeking a skilled and experienced Assistant Manager to join our successful and expanding Restructuring team within our Advisory department as part of our growth strategy. Key Responsibilities

  • Full responsibility for restructuring assignments to include planning and executing strategies for liquidations, receiverships, SCARPs and examinership assignments
  • Advising clients on restructuring, insolvency and general business or operational challenges and resolving problems as they arise
  • Liaising with legal advisors, property advisors, project managers, architects and other professionals and business providers
  • Working with clients to ensure delivery of strategies
  • Preparation of reports for clients
  • Ensuring projects and cases are completed within appropriate timeframe and budget
  • Coaching and mentoring trainees within team
  • Other ad hoc department issues when required



Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification or other relevant qualification
  • Have strong technical knowledge of formal restructuring processes
  • Have experience working with a diverse portfolio of clients
  • IT skills; must have a good working knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Driven with the ability to use own initiative
  • Strong communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Commercial awareness
