The Supply Chain Leader will play a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing all aspects of our supply chain plant operations. This includes managing the warehouse, internal logistics, planning and procurement, and inventory optimization. This leader will work closely with other departments to drive continuous improvement, maintain regulatory compliance, and support the company's strategic objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead supply planning strategy and execution to ensure the timely and uninterrupted availability of materials and finished goods. Partner closely with Production, Operations, and Demand Planning to align supply plans with forecasted demand and capacity constraints.

  • Provide overall leadership and accountability for logistics planning activities, ensuring production schedules are level‑loaded, achievable, and fully supported by inbound raw material and component supply from external suppliers.

  • Own SAP master data governance related to material planning, production scheduling, and supplier scheduling, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance to support reliable planning and execution.

  • Optimize logistics flows and material movement, implementing the most efficient material flow methodologies to reduce handling, improve space utilization, and optimize labor productivity.

  • Develop, monitor, and leverage supply chain KPIs and analytical reports to identify cost‑saving opportunities, improve service levels, and drive data‑based decision‑making.

  • Continuously assess and improve end‑to‑end supply chain processes to enhance productivity, quality, and operational efficiency. Establish and maintain risk management and mitigation strategies to ensure supply chain continuity.

  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives including through Tiered Management Systems (TMS), 5S/housekeeping standards, kitting strategies, supermarkets, and other lean methodologies to improve delivery performance and operational reliability.

  • Drive inventory optimization initiatives to reduce carrying and material handling costs while improving overall operational throughput and service levels.

  • Oversee warehouse operations, ensuring efficient receiving, storage, handling, and distribution of materials. Implement and enforce inventory control systems and best practices to maintain optimal and accurate stock levels.

  • Own inventory management strategy, including defining target inventory levels, eliminating obsolete, off‑specification, and aging materials, and improving overall inventory health and turns.

  • Prepare, manage, and control the supply chain budget, ensuring cost‑effective operations while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.

  • Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions, including purchases, pricing, delivery performance, and supplier metrics, to support audits, cost control, and supplier performance management.

  • Ensure full compliance with healthcare, safety, and regulatory requirements, proactively identifying gaps and leading corrective and preventive actions as necessary.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business Management, or a related discipline required.

  • Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in supply chain or inventory management roles, with demonstrated responsibility for cycle counting, backorder management, inventory turns, and inventory aging analysis.

  • At least 1 year of people leadership experience, including direct supervisory responsibility or leadership within a matrixed organization requiring influence without direct authority.

  • Demonstrated, indepth experience across supply chain operations, procurement, logistics, inventory management, and strategic sourcing within a manufacturing or regulated environment.

  • Proven ability to lead and develop teams, collaborate effectively across functions, and drive measurable costreduction initiatives and process improvements.

  • Budget management experience required, including forecasting, cost control, and accountability for achieving financial targets.
