Job Responsibilities: (Primary Duties, Roles, and/or Authorities)
(Supporting the department in different business related tasks).
Project planning.
Project team formation.
Coordination of monitoring meetings and project progress.
Elaboration of raw material, sub-assembly, inspection, and end items specifications in coordination with the disciplines involved.
Responsible to recommend important characteristics (dimensions, tests, etc.) for product performance.
Recommendation for inspection methods, measuring , and testing, to evaluate product correctly.
Able to have direct communication with extrusion and molding suppliers, resin distributors, extrusion suppliers, etc.
Analyze technical data information of proposed materials.
Develop risk assessment tools such as FMEA to determine risks and recommend actions to control and minimize them.
Recommendations for projects with investment in machinery, elaborating cost-benefit research to Management about impact on facilities, equipment, human resources, qualification costs, etc.
Individual involved in Design control system improvement to increase project management by reducing identified risks during the same.
Project plans (Gant chart).
Monthly reports of projects progress (CR’s) PMP’s.
Compliance reports and projects progress.
Process capability level assessments (Cp, Cpk).
Coordinate tests with labs of Division, sterilization tests.
Coordinating visual and physical tests at metrology lab.
Coordinating production runs for Engineering samples (protocol) or qualification tests (PQR) coordinated at production floor.
Assessments of materials to be obsolete or scrap and coordinate a good material incorporation of changing materials.
Develop qualification Protocols and Summaries with objective evidence of qualification results.
Managing project meetings involving Management and personnel of Division.
Fixture design and error-proof devices (Poka-Yoke) to assess product quality sharing recommendation with suppliers.
Coordination with technical personnel of the plant and Division for clarification, notification to Management on project progress and obstacles identified.
Work on projects of impact in electronic management of drawings.
Education and Experience:
Finished Engineering, preferably.
5 years experience in manufacturing processes and/or assembly preferably.
5 years experience in Quality Systems preferably.
Language Skills: Upper Intermediate.
