About the Role:
The Clinical Veterinarian will play a crucial role in ensuring the health and well-being of animals within the manufacturing environment. This position involves diagnosing and treating a variety of animal health issues, implementing preventive care programs, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. Minimum Qualifications:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid veterinary license to practice in the state of Florida.
- Experience in clinical veterinary practice, particularly in a manufacturing or agricultural setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Board certification in a veterinary specialty related to animal health.
- Experience with large animal medicine or production animal health.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance in animal welfare and health.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular health assessments and examinations of animals in the facility.
- Diagnose and treat medical conditions, injuries, and diseases in animals.
- Develop and implement vaccination and preventive health care programs.
- Collaborate with production and management teams to ensure compliance with animal welfare regulations.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on animal care and health management practices.
