What You’ll Do
- Greet and assist patients warmly and professionally—both in person and over the phone
- Schedule appointments accurately while balancing efficiency and patient needs
- Manage patient check-in and check-out, ensuring all required information is collected and documented
- Route messages and documentation through the electronic medical record (EMR) system
- Provide essential administrative support to keep daily operations running smoothly
- Safeguard patient privacy and maintain strict confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA standards
What We’re Looking For

Our team of hospital physicians provides in-patient services at Chesapeake Regional Medical Center, Sentara Leigh Hospital, Sentara Obici Hospital, Sentara Princess Anne Hospital, and Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital.
In order to help our patients navigate a myriad of healthcare options, Bayview offers the convenience of electronic medical records and our offices are equipped with state of the art technology. We offer lab services at all locations and x-ray services at select locations, including all of our Urgent Care centers.

What you'll do
- The Medical Office Receptionist will greet and assist patients both in person and over the phone, manage appointment scheduling, and ensure smooth daily operations. They will also safeguard patient privacy and maintain confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA standards.
