Bayview is seeking Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners join our Critical Care Medicine team on rotations in Chesapeake, VA. We are seeking high quality PA-Cs and NPs who are able to provide exceptional patient care in the inpatient setting.

Responsibilities:
- Perform initial assessments, daily progress notes, and ongoing evaluation of critically ill patients
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the attending physician3
- Perform and assist in critical care procedures
- Respond to medical emergencies, including, Code Blue and Rapid Response events
- Communicate effectively with patients' families regarding care plans, goals of care, and prognosis

What you'll do
- The Critical Care Advanced Practice Provider will perform initial assessments, daily progress notes, and ongoing evaluations of critically ill patients. They will also develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the attending physician and respond to medical emergencies.
