Founding Software Engineer (m/f/d)

The Founding Software Engineer (Full-Stack / Infrastructure) at Bayshore is based in Munich, on-site, and tasked with shaping the foundation of the company's product and engineering culture. This role works directly with the founders and customers to ship quickly and make decisions that define the stack, product, deployment architecture, and team evolution, taking end-to-end ownership of technical outcomes—from customer-facing features to production-ready system design and enterprise deployments. The engineer will build and scale core systems from early architecture to production, own features end-to-end, and collaborate across the stack, including product, infrastructure, deployment, and integrations, building customer-facing applications with modern TypeScript tooling such as React and Next.js. They will help extend the internal baycode DSL and develop tooling to support writing baycode, while also building the no-code, AI-first platform that lets customers inspect and edit baycode. Finally, they will design reliable backend and platform foundations for enterprise workloads, deploy and operate software in cloud and hybrid environments with strong security and compliance, work with customer IT and operations teams on integrations, security reviews, and due diligence, and influence product direction through tight feedback loops with users and customer teams.
