Job Description:

 

This job involves daily administrative duties, serving the Marketing and Management Departments. This job requires interaction with faculty, staff, students, and visitors to the Foster campus. The Marketing Department has 3 centers. Two of the centers, Professional Selling and Sales Strategy in Sports and Entertainment, have many events that occasionally require assistance from the student workers. Some of the daily jobs involve answering phones, taking messages, picking up and delivering items to the copy center and other on-campus facilities, helping distribute packages and mail, making copies, assisting faculty with PowerPoint presentations and Word documents, typing, hospitality, and event assistance. 

  • Provide marketing and communications support to assigned area of responsibility  
  • Assist with various projects, activities or tasks related to marketing and communications 
  • Support marketing and communications strategies and perform duties accordingly 
  • Exhibit a willingness to take initiative and work independently and collaboratively  
  • Ability to comply with University policies  
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance
