Job Summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a board certified or board eligible PRN Radiation Oncologist to join an outstanding team.  

Our current advanced technology includes:

  • 2 Varian TrueBeam linear accelerators with advanced imaging package and surface tracking system
    •  Beam matched with all Varian TrueBeam linear accelerators in the system
  • 3D conformal therapy
  • Intensity-Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT)
  • Volumetric-Modulated Arc Therapy (VMAT)
  • Image-Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT)
  • Surface-Guided Radiation Therapy (SGRT)
  • Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT)
  • Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS) with and without cone
  • Elekta Flexitron HDR with Oncentra TPS
  • HDR Suite with dedicated CT
  • Siemens CT Simulator with Dual Energy CT capability
  • Dedicated procedure room for trans-rectal ultrasound (TRUS) guided volume mapping, rectum sparing gel placement and Prostate Brachytherapy (LDR)
  • BrainLab Element TPS
  • Additional third vault for future expansion

 

QUALIFICATIONS
 

  • Licensed to Practice Medicine in the State of Texas by the Texas Medical Board
  • MD or DO
  • Employee shall be currently board certified in his or her specialty or demonstrate active pursuit of board certification as defined by the appropriate specialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties or the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists
