Your role at Baxter

The Analyst, Accounts Payable will be responsible for developing different payment processes for all regular suppliers, payroll, taxes and utilities, prepare, perform activities related to month end close (Integrities, Open, Reporting), and additional activities as the need arises.

What you'll do

  • We develop all payment processes for any country as required.

  • We handle activities related to the closing of the financial month. (Reporting and Deliverables).

  • We align with all SO-x requirements, SOX AP007 and SOX AP004 as well as Corporate Policies.

  • We ensure all services provided are aligning with service level agreements.

  • We drive improvement initiatives for implemented processes.

  • We resolve any errors with the supervisor and establish action plan to avoid same issue to happen again.

  • We provide customer service to suppliers, internal customers and Baxter employees.

  • We perform other duties and responsibilities as required by management.

  • We prepare any reporting require by the customer or supervisor.

  • We ensure the understanding of audit processes held by the country entities and the implications of those.

  • We provide in a timely manner any support documentation requested by any audited process as well as have sense of urgency and inform to the supervisor of any potential issue that might impact the operation.

What you'll bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Public Accounting

  • At least 2 years of experience in the end-to-end Accounts Payable process including bank conciliations and process improvement projects

  • SO-x controls experience

  • Intermediate knowledge in Excel

  • English B2+ or higher

  • Experience in accounts payable for Brazil and supplier payments for LATAM, Kuala Lumpur, and UCAN is desirable

  • Knowledge in JDE and Kyriba desired

  • Portuguese language is a plus

  • Keen customer service and communication skills in the specified languages
